Job Title: Assembler Job Description
The assembler will be responsible for accurately measuring, cutting, and placing fiber cables into clips, following detailed blueprints or work instructions. The role requires feeding each colored wire through a connector with precision, applying epoxy, and completing the coating process. Assemblers will utilize small hand tools and microscopes as needed to ensure the quality of the assemblies.
Responsibilities
Measure, cut, and place fiber cables into clips.
Follow blueprints or work instructions meticulously.
Feed colored wires through connectors with precision.
Apply epoxy and complete wire coating processes.
Utilize small hand tools and microscopes for assembly tasks.
Place assemblies into curing devices and run polishing stages.
Conduct final tests to ensure proper connections.
Essential Skills
6 months to 1+ year of manufacturing experience with small parts or medical device assembly.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to see color for accurate wire placement.
Experience with microscopes or the ability to work under one.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with guidewire and hand tools.
Familiarity with blueprint reading and medical assembly processes.

Work Environment
This position is based in a newly renovated facility undergoing continual upgrades. As part of a new division, employees will play a crucial role in shaping processes and improving efficiency. The clean room environment does not require specific dress codes beyond a provided smock, and safety equipment is available as needed. The role operates on a 1st shift schedule from Monday to Thursday, 5:00 am to 3:00 pm, with potential overtime on Fridays.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.76/hr.
