Our Fond du lac client is a leading local manufacturer known for quality craftsmanship and a commitment to excellence. We are currently seeking a motivated and hardworking Carpentry Helper to join their production team in Fond du Lac. POSITION –Carpentry Helper
JOB LOCATION – Fond du Lac, WI
STARTING DATE – Immediate
EMPLOYMENT TERM – Regular
EMPLOYMENT TYPE – Full-Time
WORK HOURS (SHIFT) – 1st Shift (6:00am – 4:00pm M-Th, OT on Fri)
2nd Shift (3:30pm - 1:30am M-Th, OT on Fri)
STARTING PAY – $18/hr
REQUIRED EDUCATION – High School Diploma/GED
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE – See Qualifications
Responsibilities
- Cutting, fabrication and prepping wood products
- Producing and assembly of half walls top cap decor, multi layer decor, art elements
- Use of table saw, pin nailers, routers, drills and cut-off saws as needed for projects
- Sand and prep surfaces for paint and/or staining
Qualifications
- Ability to use a tape measure and to apply measurements to processes
- Show initiative and demonstrated ability to accurately complete assigned tasks
- Ability to operate hand tools such as sanders, hand drills, miter saw, skill saw, various drills, buffer, utility knife, etc
- Ability to read basic shop drawings
