Position Description: At Delta College, we believe that education should be within reach for everyone, regardless of financial circumstances. We are seeking a highly student-oriented individual to join our team as a full-time Dental Assistant Instructor at our Slidell campus to teach Dental Assistant skills. This is a day-shift position, requiring 30 to 35 hours per week. Responsibilities:Learning and adapting the course curriculum.Mentoring students and providing additional support when needed.Overseeing examinations and final practical tests.Providing course feedback to the Director.Maintain accurate and up-to-date classroom records.This could be a terrific opportunity to share your knowledge and experience with our students. Qualifications:A minimum of 4 years of experience working in a Dental Practice. EDDA certification.Associate 's or Bachelors degree is preferred, but not required.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Teaching experience is preferred, but not required.
