We are seeking a skilled and compassionate ED nurse, who understands and respects the values of our tribal communities. Together, staff will provide care that meets the needs of the community and offers a meaningful and culturally responsive experience for both patients and their families.
Requirements Specialty : Dialysis Technician
Certifications : CCHT
Experience : Prefer a minimum of 6 months experience
Schedule : 36 hour workweek; 5-12 hours a day
Job Duties - Actively participate in infection control, risk management and patient education activities
- Guide new patients through education plan
- Obtain and record patient vital signs and machine readings during treatment.
- Role under RN supervision
- Set up and break down dialysis blood system for treatment.
- Insert and remove patient access needles.
- Monitor patients during dialysis, document changes and inform charge nurse of any concerns.
- Calculate patient's weight loss to reach dry weight.
- Determine patient care priorities and organize workload accordingly.
- Maintain professional working relationship, observing patient privacy and rights.
- Maintain and track inventory.
- Perform laboratory work.
- Performs duties as assigned by client and Tribal Health.
