Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nutrition counseling to patients, considering their medical and psychosocial history.
• Develop and implement customized nutrition plans to support weight loss and overall health.
• Conduct nutritional assessments and evaluate patient progress.
• Assist with dietary adjustments based on patient needs and clinical guidelines.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to create comprehensive treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and nutrition plans in the EMR.
• Educate patients about the role of nutrition in weight management and disease prevention.
• Perform phlebotomy and EKG as part of patient assessments.
• Conduct follow-up calls to monitor patient progress and address concerns.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field.
• Registered Dietitian (RD) or Certified Nutrition Specialist (CNS) credential (Required).
• Experience in phlebotomy and EKG (Required).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Passion for health and wellness and personally living a healthy lifestyle.

About the Role

The Dietitian/Nutritionist will ensure each patient receives outstanding service by providing a friendly and knowledgeable environment. Key responsibilities include greeting patients, answering questions regarding the Medi-Weightloss program, and assisting with laboratory order forms and patient laboratory results. You will also play a crucial role in maintaining inventory levels and ensuring the overall cleanliness of the clinic.

Pay

Job Types: Part-time, PRN

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 hours per week

• Weekends as needed

Experience:

• Customer service: 1 year (Preferred).
• Medical terminology: 1 year (Preferred).
• Computer skills: 1 year (Preferred).
