Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory is hiring a Division Electrical Safety Officer within the Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) division. Matrixed to the Facilities Division, this position supports the implementation of a comprehensive Electrical Safety Program. Responsibilities include recommending and implementing processes to monitor and prevent electrical exposures, providing electrical safety training, and advising the Laboratory Electrical Safety Officer on strategies to address complex regulatory issues and manage construction, maintenance, and laboratory hazards. The role plays a key leadership and partnership role in advancing and continuously improving electrical safety practices to ensure safe execution of electrical work.

30% - Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) Program Support
10% - Incident Investigation & Issue Resolution
