LANDSCAPE DESIGNER (5+ YEARS EXPERIENCE)

Palm Desert or Riverside, California Hermann Design Group, Inc. (HDG) is seeking a motivated and talented Landscape Designer with five or more years of professional experience to join our collaborative team in either our Palm Desert or Riverside office. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects that shape public spaces and serve communities throughout Southern California.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Collaborate with project managers and design teams Assist in all phases of project development—from concept through construction documentation Prepare plans, details, and visual presentations Coordinate with consultants and team members Support delivery of high‑quality construction documents Contribute creative design solutions to a wide variety of projects

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture Minimum 5 years of professional experience Strong proficiency in AutoCAD Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and SketchUp Strong organizational and communication skills Preferred: Experience with public agency standards, specifications, and consultant coordination Familiarity with California public agency submittal requirements Lumion or rendering software experience Progress toward Landscape Architecture licensure

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

Salary Range: $66,560 – $72,800 annually (unlicensed candidates) Higher compensation available for licensed Landscape Architects based on qualifications.
