Position Overview
We’re looking for a highly skilled Welder who can also handle line boring —or a machinist with strong welding experience—to join our team. If you take pride in your weld quality, can handle heavy equipment repairs, and aren’t afraid of field work, this is the role for you.

This position is welding-heavy (70%) , with additional responsibility for precision line boring and bore repair . You’ll work on critical equipment, solving real problems—not just running repetitive shop work.

What You’ll Do

• Perform bore buildup, ID welding, and structural welding on heavy equipment
• Set up and operate portable line boring machines in shop and field environments
• Repair worn or damaged bores to tight tolerances and OEM specs
• Read blueprints and confidently execute both welding and machining work
• Set up jobs independently—alignment, layout, tooling, and execution
• Use precision measuring tools to ensure accuracy and quality
• Work with cranes, rigging, and heavy components safely and efficiently

What We’re Looking For

• Strong welding background (this is a welding-first role)
• Experience with heavy equipment, fabrication, or repair work
• Ability to read prints and work independently
• Solid understanding of fit-up, tolerances, and repair processes
• Machining or line boring experience highly preferred (we can help develop the right welder)
• Someone who shows up, works hard, and takes ownership of their work

Bonus Skills (Not Required, But Valuable)

• Portable line boring experience (Climax, Boretech, etc.)
• CNC or manual machining experience
• Rigging, crane, or field service experience
