Job Description

Marketing Account Manager

The Marketing Account Manager leads and owns a diverse and highly visible book of business for branding initiatives. This role is responsible for driving the end-to-end project management and marketing strategy for client-driven branding solutions. As a strategic liaison, this individual ensures that all brand development aligns with business objectives and is delivered with excellence across all channels and touchpoints.

To act as the primary strategic and operational lead for branding projects, ensuring seamless communication between stakeholders and the high-quality execution of integrated marketing solutions that align with client and RPM Living objectives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead and own a high-profile book of business for branding initiatives, acting as the primary point of contact to ensure all projects are completed on time and with excellence.
  • Proactively identify and capture opportunities for additional business by partnering with internal teams to expand branding services and creative service requests.
  • Drive the project management and marketing strategy for internal campaigns and client-driven branding services from start to finish.
  • Act as the strategic liaison between clients, operations, and property marketing to ensure seamless communication and alignment on business objectives.
  • Translate stakeholder needs into clear, strategic creative briefs that guide the development of high-impact brand development.
  • Masterfully present campaign information, release dates, and performance results to internal and external leadership.
  • Own the "translation" layer: Inform social media, paid media, and activation strategies based on core branding objectives.
  • Maintain project management system (ClickUp), ensuring all project fields, timelines, and statuses are accurate and up to date.
  • Preserve a comprehensive historical record of all completed work and strategic decisions to ensure team continuity.
  • Develop and maintain resource materials and educational tools to empower internal stakeholders and streamline branding engagements.
  • Self-manage the "business" of the role, including budgeting, billing, RFPs, and vendor relationships for your book of business.
  • Assess and optimize: Conduct project reviews and collect performance data (ROI, feedback, etc.) to deliver actionable reporting and better strategies for 2026 and beyond.
  • Support the broader team during group initiatives, peak workloads, or team absences.
  • Travel <30%.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Advanced presentation skills for communicating with leadership and external clients
  • Exceptional account management and project management skills
  • Financial acumen for managing budgets and billing
  • Ability to translate complex business needs into actionable creative briefs

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications or related field. Experience may substitute for education.
  • Four years of marketing experience that directly supports marketing, operations and onsite management.
  • Experience in multifamily industry, or related industries, preferred.
  • Proven experience managing complex marketing projects or initiatives across multiple teams, stakeholders, and timelines.
  • Strong account management and project management skills, including planning, prioritization, workflow organization, and delivery against milestones.
  • Ability to translate strategy into clear, executable plans and scalable frameworks.
  • Solid understanding of modern marketing principles, including brand, digital marketing, and lead generation, with the ability to partner effectively with channel experts rather than execute day-to-day tactics.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly align stakeholders, set expectations, and drive accountability.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in property management or familiarity with marketing platforms and systems is a plus but not required.

Physical Requirements:

  • May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to read documents, computer screens and data
  • Must be able to hear and understand verbal communications in person and over the phone or computer
  • May occasionally be required to lift or carry items such as files or office supplies weighing up to 15 pounds
  • Must be able to operate a computer, keyboard, mouse and other office equipment

Work Environment:

  • This is a hybrid role, requiring the associate to work in one of our corporate offices 3 days per week.
  • The office is an open setting which may include bright lights, constant noises and distractions.
