Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking a skilled OR Tech to support surgical services within our Healthcare & Medical Services department. As an integral member of the operating room team, you will assist surgeons, anesthesiologists, and registered nurses in providing safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care before, during, and after surgery. Responsibilities include preparing operating rooms and sterile fields according to aseptic standards, selecting and organizing instruments, supplies, and equipment for a wide variety of procedures, and ensuring all instruments are properly counted, handled, and maintained. You will anticipate the needs of the surgical team, pass instruments and supplies accurately and efficiently, operate basic OR equipment, and assist with patient positioning and prepping while strictly following infection control and safety protocols. Drawing on Premier Health & Safety’s strong foundation in health and safety training, you will model best practices in workplace safety, regulatory compliance, and emergency response, contributing to a culture of continuous learning and excellence. The ideal candidate has solid knowledge of surgical procedures and terminology, sterile processing and aseptic technique, and understands OSHA, Joint Commission, and infection control standards. You are detail-oriented, calm under pressure, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-centered environment.
