Novant Health is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team, contributing to our mission of improving health through advanced technology and personalized care. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide safe, evidence-based, and patient-centered nursing care to a diverse population in a fast-paced clinical environment. You will be responsible for conducting comprehensive patient assessments, developing and implementing individualized plans of care, administering medications and treatments, and monitoring patient responses while ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality. In this role, you will collaborate closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, therapists, pharmacists, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team to coordinate and optimize patient care. You will utilize electronic health records to document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner, supporting continuity of care and effective communication across the care team. You will educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, discharge instructions, and health maintenance, empowering them to participate actively in their care and make informed decisions. This position typically involves 12-hour or 8-hour shifts, with potential for days, nights, weekends, and holidays depending on unit needs. Some remote or hybrid tasks, such as follow-up calls, care coordination, and documentation, may be supported by technology where appropriate, while the core nursing responsibilities remain on-site at the patient’s bedside.
