MS-IL Staffing & Packaging and its local clients are NOW HIRING for a 2nd shift Stand - Up Reach Forklift in the Plainfield IN , area!

Position: Stand-up Reach Forklift Operator

Shift : 2nd shift, Monday - Friday, 3:00PM-11:30PM (MUST TRAIN ON 1ST 1 WEEK)

Pay: $18.22

Location: Plainfield IN

J ob Summary :

The stand-up reach forklift operator is responsible for picking full pallets for orders and moving the pallets to the correct staging lane for loading, moving full pallets of items from the storage racks to the pick faces, moving pallets from Receiving lanes to a storage location in the racks. We also expect you to be “picky” when it comes to ensuring the quality of orders. The job will require an individual who is energetic, detail oriented and safe-minded who can function in a fast-paced environment. Product, size, and weight of boxes will vary throughout the day. Could be standing and/or walking for long periods daily while frequently bending, twisting, reaching, and consistently lifting to 50 lbs. Required to pass safety training and a test to obtain certification to operate a Reach Truck.

D uties and R esponsibilities :

• Operations of stand-up reach forklift
• Operate RF scanners to accurately locate, fill orders and effectively manage inventory
• Accurately count location prior to pick and after pick to ensure pick accuracy.
• Build pallets according to weight and size to prevent any crushing of product.
• Wrap pallets prior to staging
• Proper placement of shipping labels on the completed pallets prior to staging.
• Staging cargo within the warehouse in a safe and orderly manner
• Responsible for general housekeeping to ensure warehouse standards of cleanliness and organization
• are maintained. This may include sweeping, consolidation of product, removal of dunnage and other tasks as needed.
• Adhere to health and safety policies when performing picking assignments
• Other duties or responsibilities as assigned according to the team and/or country specific requirements

Qualifications Required:

• Ability to show up to work on time and work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Ability to lift, up to at least 50 pounds
• Strong attention to detail
• Submit to and pass a background check.
• Recent experience on stand-up reach forklift

Preferred:

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous warehouse experience is a plus
