Summer Studio Associate (Multiple Roles) – Fulcrum Studio

Fulcrum GT is hiring a small cohort of Summer Studio Associates to staff and operate its in-house production studio, a 3-camera, 6K, fully integrated environment built on the Blackmagic Design platform. The studio supports executive content, podcasts, panels, and live streaming.

This is a hands-on, production-first role. Associates will work as a team to run the studio end-to-end, while each individual develops depth in a primary discipline and contributes to building repeatable production processes.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

* Operate and support live and recorded studio productions including multi-camera switching, audio, lighting, and streaming
* Prepare and execute shoots from setup through delivery
* Maintain studio readiness, quality standards, and production workflows
* Document production processes, checklists, and standard operating procedures to enable consistent and scalable execution
* Identify inefficiencies or failure points and refine workflows over time
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to produce polished, professional content

Role Alignment (primary lane)
Candidates will be aligned to a primary role based on experience and interest, while remaining cross-functional across the team:

• Production/Technical Direction
  Live switching, shot composition, signal flow, and real-time execution
• Motion Graphics
  Lower thirds, overlays, branding systems, and light animation using tools such as DaVinci Resolve or similar
• Audio Engineering
  Microphone setup, live mixing, sound quality optimization, and troubleshooting
• Production Design (Lighting and Set)
  Lighting setups, green screen workflows, framing, and studio environment design

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or advanced degree in TV/Film Production or related field, from a top-tier university/college, or able to demonstrate significant professional work experience.
• Experience or strong interest in one of the above areas, academic or practical
• Comfort working with technical systems in a live production environment
• Strong attention to detail in both execution and documentation
• Ability to take ownership and operate with minimal supervision
• Clear thinking and the ability to translate hands-on work into structured processes others can follow
