Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Volunteer HR Generalist to support our growing organization. This role is ideal for someone looking to gain hands-on HR experience while contributing to a mission-driven team. The HR Generalist will assist with a variety of human resources functions, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with recruiting efforts, including posting roles, screening candidates, and scheduling interviews
• Support onboarding and orientation processes for new volunteers and team members
• Maintain and organize HR documentation and records
• Help develop and implement HR policies and procedures
• Support volunteer engagement and retention initiatives
• Assist in performance tracking and feedback processes
• Collaborate with leadership on organizational development projects
• Ensure confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive information

Qualifications

• Interest in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related field
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information
• Familiarity with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, or similar tools
• Previous HR or administrative experience is a plus, but not required
