Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers / CNAs to provide exceptional support and care to individuals in various settings, including assisted living, home health, hospice, and long-term care facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to patient well-being, safety, and dignity. Duties

• Assist residents or clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Monitor and record vital signs and patient observations to ensure health status is maintained
• Administer medications following care plans and HIPAA regulations
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal consumption when necessary
• Support patients with memory care needs such as dementia or Alzheimer's by implementing specialized care techniques
• Operate patient lifts such as Hoyer lifts safely and effectively, including heavy lifting when required
• Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning and sanitation procedures
• Document patient progress, update care plans, and communicate effectively with healthcare teams
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents or clients to promote mental well-being
• Follow all safety protocols related to CPR, first aid, infection control, and HIPAA compliance

Requirements

• Valid CNA certification or relevant caregiving experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or home & community care settings
• Knowledge of patient observation techniques, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, dementia, or memory care needs is preferred
• Ability to perform light to heavy lifting safely (up to 50 pounds) as needed for resident transfers or mobility assistance
• CPR and First Aid certification required; ongoing training preferred
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively within a team and independently when necessary
• Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to improve the quality of life for residents or patients
• Ability to adhere to HIPAA regulations ensuring confidentiality of patient information
• Prior experience in home health, hospice care, social work, or long-term care environments is advantageous
