Location: In-Office Duration: May 25 – August 7 (Full-Time) Overview Synapse ITS is looking for a Process Engineering Summer Intern to support our manufacturing operations in Greenville. This is a hands‑on opportunity to work alongside experienced engineers and gain exposure to how production processes are developed, documented, and improved. You’ll be involved in continuous improvement efforts, process documentation, and day‑to‑day manufacturing support in a fast‑paced environment. What You’ll Do Assist with developing and updating work instructions and process documentation Support time studies and help maintain production standard times Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, quality, and waste reduction Assist with process audits to identify improvement opportunities Help analyze production data to support decision‑making Support troubleshooting efforts related to production issues, scrap, and downtime Assist with basic Design of Experiments (DOE) and data collection activities Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams Take on additional projects that support manufacturing and process improvement What You’ll Gain This internship is designed to provide real exposure to manufacturing and process engineering.
